Just so the smelly town of Auburn, AL doesn't try to associate itself with the remarkable Auburn car company, these masterpieces
were made in Auburn, INDIANA.

Look at the man pictured below. His name is Dr. Ferdinand
Porsche. He created Porsches and named them after himself. Like most people, he knew how to pronouce his own last
name better than anyone else. He pronouced the name of the car the same way. It is pronounced "poor-shuh"
NOT "porsh." Porsh is probably Hungarian for corn or some other vegetable. Whatever porsh
is it definately isn't a sports car. This has been driving me insane for at least the last 25 years. Some of the
most widely travelled, well educated people I know will still say, "Wow, look at that beautiful porsh," or "When my midlife
crisis begins, I'm buying a porsh." They say porsh in movies, TV shows, and on the radio, so I guess people will always
say it. Sad, sad, sad.
